I was at the premier tuning shop in Okinawa last night and after some long discussion with the owner about ecu tuning, he broke out his $10,000 Techtom system. Techtom is the company that makes the best equipment in the world for chip tuning. The program absolutely stumped me not to mention it almost all written in hex. Freakin incredible stuff. We get to talking about chips and chip tuning and that drifted into some crazy stuff about putting multiple programs onto one chip. I heard about it being possible but he explained it to me and then showed me one of his dual-map chips. It had one map for daily driving with lower boost and a gas saving program, then with the flip of a button it switched to an all out high-boost drag race program. I was like WHAT THE FUDGE!!! I then asked him if it was possible to put 4 programs onto one chip: the starters program, the 555cc inj program, the 555cc + dual pop, and the 850cc + dual pop. He said sure no problem. I said if you could do this then there would be masses of American Z owners waiting in line for one. So he is thinking about it now. Hopefully he will have a reasonable price for it. How much would you pay for something like this???
